RE:RE:RE:RE:two Kenyan oil explorers with big short term potential
Great discussion and excellent comments. I agree that this may very well force their hand. I think that the market knows the value of Lokichar, knows that there will be some challenges getting the oil to market and knows that there is some more potential there. BUT, the market seems to want AOI to do a deal to move this forward as I do not believe that they can do it on their own anyway. Market has sent the message that it is impatient with the progess.
Another PP would be tough to swallow and if they do another deal then $12 per share buyout is all they may get anyway. As much as I hate to say it, it may be best to do a deal and move on. I would be ok with a deal as long as I am getting shares for it, no cash. I would take a Tullow deal and then I would gain in the upside if they are able to prove up 5 billion barrels in Kenya.
Quite frankly, I am slowing getting tired of the rollercoaster and the inability to keep the stock moving forward. I think that AOI made a few mistakes along the way and are now paying the price with impatient investors and investment houses.
