DOS drilling programDOS has a long history now of initially encouraging geologic leads which invariably are followed up by dismal drilling results. I don't doubt the quality of the geological work they do, but I have grave doubts about the quality of their geophysics. While it's very unlikely, still I've often wondered if they've ever even done a survey audit of some of their past projects. It's very easy to miss a kimberlite pipe for instance if the mapping is inadvertently done in NAD 27 while the drillers are using NAD 83. Something like this should be easily avoided, but I have seen it happen more than once. So, please MJ, spend a few hundred bucks per location for some pre-drill audits if you don't already.
Or maybe they just have bad luck :)
