RE:RE:RE:RE:Yesterdays Press ReleaseHey amtbnt,
Not to worry, you have not dashed my hopes whatsoever. I think you are confused as to who has been running the company for the last 15 years and will find, along with the residents of Bralorne and Gold Bridge that an influx of capital and a fresh perspecitve will turn things around quickly.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but yes Avino has been profitable and a highlight within my portfilio. I have been invested in Avino on and off for 8 years and couldn't be happier with the company's performance. They delivered 3 out of 4 profitable quarters during their first year of commerical production in 2013 for an overal positive EPS. They are on track to do the same this year.
Any lessons they may have learned in Mexico would have been done over the last 40 years where they have succusfully managed to navigate the challenging environment described in your post. I have personally toured the Avino mine and can assure you that the operation and faciliities are top notch and safe and are embraced by the local community top the fullest extent. In fact, in 2013, they were recognized by the Govenor of Durango for their accomplishments in the areas of worker safety and community outreach.
I have also visitied the Bralorne mine on several occainsions and agree that there is a lot of work to be done. Avino got involved with Bralorne because they, like I, see the potential to restore the operation to its previous grandure.
I hope you are open minded enough to judge the progress that will be made on its own merits rather than base your opinions on the past. There is no doubt that mistakes were made but trust me when I tell you that having Avino involved will breath new life into the mine and the surrounding area.
Good Luck to you as well.
