Virginia Mines Gold Mines VIA.T [Virginia predecessor company] had been part our my portfolio before. I see that André Gaumond is still the President. Virginia was a substantial part of us turning $100K into $1.4 Million. [$1 Million of it we were to lose in the 2008-2009 crash.] On December 5, 2005, Goldcorp bought us out. Since Virginia had been so good to me, I felt a little guilty about ignoring the remnant called ‘New Virginia’ [the current Virginia Mines, VGQ.T], but I used all the cash to chase other fish. - - Actually, I put in my bids for the 2014 Summer Shopping Season. I selected Pilot Gold, Delradian Resources, & Virgina Minines at their MA(200) prices. Pilot & Delradian took my bids earlier in September. In fact I got second tranches of both [doubled down] at [MA(200) - 12%]. - I do not know what to make of the Summer Shopping Season extending so late. Any comments? - I was a little surprised that Virginia just took my bid. I thought that I would have to find happiness having just two of my three targets. October 1, is my birthday. What a wonderful delight it was to wake up on ones birthday to find himself the new owner of shares of Virginia Mines. - RJ BTW - I seem to be having a hard time trying to access the Virginia Mines Website. Is there something odd about getting there?
