In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. Suroco for free !

Right before PTA aquired Suroco, PTA was trading at 0.36 if I remember and had 597mill shares outstanding. That's a market cap of 215 mill CAD or 199 million USD at the time. Today PTA is trading at 0.275 and has around 870 million shares or a market cap 239 Million CAD or in other words 213.6miion USD !!
si basically aquiring Suroco just really cost PTA an additional 15 million USD. Not a bad deal in my books :)
i know it's not how you calculate things, but trying to simplify how cheap PTA currently is.
