PLS ships 3.65M tons p.a to SFO at $10.75 / ton of (sand and gravel) and has a mcap of $175M and has institutional stock holder, and a well capitalized balance sheet. It has a track record. Its management team have pedigree in aggregate and marine aggregate.
HBK is an emerging entrant in a local market - has the capability to do 500,000 - 600,000 tons p.a. of rock to a local market, with much higher prices for its rock. it may experience some seasonality to its single source.
It has a 24.8Mcap, has not shipped a pebble, has no track record and its management team are developers and not operators, and they have no pedigree in aggregate.
