RE:RE:RE:31.00 cash?You'd be wasting your time writing registered letters.  The offer was subject to certain conditions.  And BCE had the option to proration.
I chose BCE shares and got them.  (Plus $10 a few days later for the fractional share).  Obviously had I sold after the announcement  and then bought back BCE as the price dropped I'd have been further ahead.  Plus I'd be eligible for the next dividend.  But that's hindsight/20/20.
