Birchcliff Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based intermediate oil and natural gas company. The Company is engaged in the exploration for and the development, production and acquisition of oil and gas reserves in Western Canada. The Company’s operations are focused on the Montney/Doig Resource Play in Alberta. Its operations are concentrated in the Peace River Arch area of Alberta. The Company has a 100% working interest in its Pouce Coupe Gas Plant and two oil batteries, as well as various working interests in numerous other gas plants, oil batteries, compressors, facilities and infrastructure. Its Pouce Coupe Gas Plant, which is licensed to process up to 340 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of natural gas, is located in the heart of the Corporation's Montney/Doig Resource Play.

And yes that’s quite a daunting figure!!!!!

Big injection but the new total now climbs to 152.2Bcf. that is now needed each week to equal last years fill at the end of the injection season. That is an increase of 9.4 Bcf over last weeks figure.The current score card is 27 injections so far and 20 misses. They are still trying to cram all they can into storage in these remaining few weeks. However it is safe to assume that last week's 112 BCF injection was the absolute injection high point of the seasonal end run and we will now see a tapering in the storage injections from here on in, usual for Oct. and cooling weather. My estimate a 180Bcf shortfall remains unchanged. Remember that the 2013 fill was only the 5th best storage fill on record and in no way could it be categorized as "overfilled." Again I remind you this may turn out to be the lowest storage number since 2008 but we will wait to see if that is confirmed.
