One World Holdings, Inc. (OWOO) – Making Waves with Major Do

One World Holdings, Inc. (OWOO) – Making Waves with Major Do
One World Holdings, Inc. (OWOO) – Making Waves with Major Doll Retailers

One World Holdings has been making waves in the doll marketplace. In 2014 alone, the One World Doll Project has substantially increased the distribution of its Prettie Girls! multicultural doll line through a business partnership with the HEB Grocery Company (H-E-B) and its chain of stores.

H-E-B was the first major store chain to offer the Prettie Girls! dolls to its customers and was rewarded with a successful launch. Following the launch, two sells outs and reorders from H-E-B, the H-E-B Plus! Store in Pearland, Texas—a chain operated by H-E-B—decided to add the doll line to its current offerings and placed an additional order in May 2014.

The product offerings at H-E-B Plus! stores are similar to the offerings at other hypermarket stores, such as Target and Wal-Mart. In placing the Prettie Girls! dolls on the shelves in this type of retail environment, the stage is set for the dolls to prove themselves with a major general merchandise retailer. This opportunity is exactly what One World needed to support its push to other big box retailers for Christmas 2014. In anticipation of the 2014 holiday season, One World has already placed a significantly larger production order to bring the Prettie Girls! inventory levels up 75,000 units.

As the demand for the Prettie Girls! dolls has increased, H-E-B’s has ordered even more of the dolls and brought them to other stores in its chain. In June, ten additional H-E-B stores placed their orders, following a presentation from One World founder Trent Daniel to close to 80 H-E-B store managers. In late May, Mr. Daniel was invited to H-E-B’s Houston offices and there he told the story of the creation of The Prettie Girls! doll line and The One World Doll Project. During his presentation, Mr. Daniel emphasized the need for the multicultural doll line, which is unlike any others on the retail shelves in major stores across the country.

The orders from the ten stores cinched the viability and value of the One World brand. While the company has always sought to create a great product that will bring financial success, it is also focused on teaching little girls around the world to embrace diversity. One World means to continue to build and develop The Prettie Girls! brand into a product line that store managers will be proud to have on their shelves.
