GoFaster, please find a quiet room and breathe into a bag for a few minutes before you post again.
Of course India is looking to make other potash deals. They consume 3 million tonnes of potash per year. They used to consume 6 before they made all of their cuts to the fertilizer subsidies 2-3 years ago. Even with Encanto supplying the entire output of the future Muskowekwan mine, that is still only 2.8 million tonnes per year. With ownership of another potash company they can offset future price increases. Also, who's to say that they won't be interested in a partial ownership of Encanto given this news?
