Bentek-10/14/2014 | 2:05 PM

Bentek-10/14/2014 | 2:05 PMCanadian Observer (Weekly) - Special Feature: Iroquois, weather will determine winter exports to Northeast Due to flourishing Northeast production and its increasing ability to fulfill inter-regional demand, inflows to the region have continually declined, ...even during the peak winter months. Net exports from East Canada to the Northeast have steadily weakened from a high of more than 2.8 Bcf/d during the 2005-2006 winter to about 1.0 Bcf/d over the past couple winters. That said, the decline in net exports may have hit a temporary plateau as captive markets in upstate New York and New England have yet to experience infrastructure build-outs to access Northeast production, and thus continue to rely on Canada for supply. For more information on Bentek's expectations for East Canada to Northeast flows in the upcoming winter, refer to the special feature on page 2. less10/14/2014 | 2:05 PM
