RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Any one know ?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Any one know ?My 30 years experience is with Chevron and Texaco in the San Joaquin Valley.  Oxy recently found 20MBOPD underneath their Elk Hills field, but otherwise fracturing results have been a coin toss.......... as an example, North Shafter, 500 BOPD IP, lasting only a few weeks, going to 50.   Tight is right.  The Monterrey shale was reported to contain  billions and billions of barrels by the xxxx agency (can't recall), only to be cut by 90% of the original estimate by that same agency a year or so later.  If  you're interested you can google it.  So, depending on who you believe, California is either the next Saudi, or the next Illinois.   Also, we have been using hydraulic fracturing in California (including the San Joaquin) for over forty years without pause where needed.   Most producing formations here are super permeable (loose), so only deeper  "exploratory" wells (in tight formations) are frac'd.   ALSO, We have so many earthquakes here that frac'ing is not an issue.   GL   Popps
