The government in Peru is very slow to issue permits but they seem to be honest . The only companies who have had trouble either angered local people or took environmental short cuts . Buena Ventura is a large Peruvian miner that has about 10 % of Focus . Also we have two large international miners in our neighbourhood who haven`t had any trouble . Just my opinion but I think your investment would be much safer than say in British Columbia for example .
