RE:What's the bear case for PTA?

RE:What's the bear case for PTA?Herrx00,

Welcome to the PTA board,
Im actually quite the bull here and a substantial shareholder of PTA and a recent one.
looks like you've done your homework. IMHO opinion there a 2 risks here. 1: Risk of operations & a bunch of dry wells !! 2: Oil Prices!!
the first risk, that's part of the Natureof the business & the size of PTA, so if you can't take it, then it's not your kind of stock. Although I see they have great acreage in Llanos & Putumayo.
Second risk ( Oil ) definitely if Oil drops to lower levels it will definitely hurt. although $60 is far fetched, nothing is impossible!! Again my opinion is that we won't get even near that, but IF we do I would assume it would not stay there for quite a while and prices would definitely rebound because a lot of companies will stop drilling below $70. so again IMO if you have the nerves & the patience PTA is an excellent risk reward scenario and I believe we will hit 10k boepd very very soon and could come close to 15k boepd by end of 2015 and hopefully pass 20k in 2016. If that happens you can see your investment multiply easily 5X from here in a year and a half to two years.
Good Luck !
