RE:RE:What is CSQ worth?? Not to belabour the point, but I failed to mention earlier a fairly serious ingredient in valuation; namely, the financiability of the prospect. There is a minimum threshold of ounces beneath which there is virtually no value accorded.
A good example is Goldquest (GQC). Here we have a junior with a 43-101 measured and indicated gold equivalent resource of about 3 million ounces trading at a market cap of $20 M, or about $7 per oz in the ground. Why so low? Well simply because majors are hurting big time right now and intermediates cannot access hundreds of millions to put into production a resouce of only a few million ounces. One could argue that the resource could grow as they still have enough cash to drill and are so doing, but the market is sceptical. ( I own GQC)
