RE:RE:Suspicious trades at the last minute from Morgan StanleyMy take is that whenever MSCanada is on the ask at the close there is nothing suspicious about it, rather blatant by now.. They do the same thing with 3 other companies I closely watch.. They were doing it on EPS for about 3 weeks during the sell off, selling at the open and the close for 1 board lot, at the bid and sometimes under it.
It took GSCanada and BNS to hold the bid at the close, filling 10 moc trades in the final second all for 1 board lot each before MSC turned that bot off. They were back at it a couple weeks later.. Seems to be a main trick of theirs to exit the day on weakness, looking to drop the price for one reason or another..
On EPS, most their selling has now been at the very bottom however. I wish our regulators could see how illegal this is but hey, they are as blind and useless as ever, not much we can do about it but let it all play out.
