RE:Hmmm
RE:Hmmm
Well for the benefit of AMTBNT and others who value my opinion , heres a few more comments. I have made no secret of the fact that I am NOT a milling guy... I break the rock and get it to surface. So if I inadvertently suggest something milling related that ends not being true, cut me a bit of slack. However anyone can check the record, I have NEVER suggested that BOZ's ore is refractory........all I ever did was point out that much of Nevada production was refractory. And this comment was made before other posters here identified that Nevada Jasperoid is ammenable to cyanidation. Thats the beauty of these boards , different people are able to provide additional info
Now there seems to be consensus on this board that cyanide is never going to be used on the island , so the remaining question is this new high grade ammenable to recovery by flotation, because management have already stated that the DMS plant wont effectively recover this. Now despite the fact that none of us should extrapolate Nevada experience iunquestioningly into Canada , the fact that the Nevada jasperoid is reported as being non visible and at micron sized, makes me think that flotation will not be that effective. Thats the beauty of cyanide... it gets at VERY fine particles and readily dissolves them. Will flotation do the job ?? We dont know.
But its probably not worth getting too excited about this . This jasperoid is not a new zone. It is part of Tel. Even at high grades it probably will never dramatically affect the total ounces from Tel.
And I repeat my caution..... be very carefull extrapolting Nevada experiences to the island. Expressions like "game changer " when applied to a recent acknowledgement of a previously unrecognised small part of a previouslly drilled ore zone makes me nervous.
