RE:California refinery move

RE:California refinery move
Hi BridgePlayer,

#1.  Hopefully DD/RDX found a brownfield site, although it will still be a slow process permits/siting/commissioning and so on, RDX is probably on all of California's EPA air/water boards radars after their "Red Flag" performance at Santa Fe.  Hope DD has an army of good ex-EPA type lawyers on his side!!!

#2.  Hopefully the plant (used equipment) that DD & the boys bought from REP did not sit idled for more than six months, if it did, hopefully it was properly treated with VCI & other type of corrosion inhibitors.......if not, there may/will be many, many, many more time consuming ($$$$$$ spending), problems during the commissioning phase of the plant.

#3.  From DD/RDX's news blurb when they bought the REP refinery:

[RDX is in the process of moving the refinery operation to a  confidential location that offers a business friendly, proactive environment that favors renewable fuel production, and is in proximity of an RDX fuel consumer. The new refinery location will remain confidential until moved and in operation, which is expected to be late fall of this calendar year.]

My own feeling is that as soon as the first piece of iron is planted in the ground, DD will announce that he has an operational refinery.  That will keep the pumpers happy.......but reality will dictate that DD & the boys quickly thereafter will have to start feeding shareholders excuses as to why there is low to no fuel output from the plant.  Maybe DD will let us figure it out on our own, as he did with the lack of fuel output from Carthage.

Hope I'm wrong and DD/RDX pull off a miracle!!!  Between the drought + fracing supposedly already contaminating all of Cali's aquifers, California needs all the help they can get.  Maybe DD/RDX can site/operate a few hundred of their Odessa type waste water treatment plants to help out.......that is, if DD's tech/gear actually works + its everyday O&M is cost effective enough to generate profits.
