RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Mr. Market Never Lies!I have watched long enough regarding the banter back and forth regarding Direct Nickel. The capital and operating costs of the Direct Nickel study is based on an ore grade of 1.55% nickel.
The nickel grade in the Thetford Mine tailings is only 0.21% nickel. Therefore, the capital cost and operating cost will be much higher for the Thetford Mine tailings and believe they would be almost directly proportional to the nickel percentange. I doubt DST would be interested in processing the Thetford mine tailings without significant credits from all Federal and Quebec governments. DST has processed nickel laterite ore samples from Rio Negro in Guatemala resulting in 3.06% nickel. The Rio Negro property is 100% owned by DST Guatemala. I guessing this would be DST best first attempt in processing nickel laterite ore along with its other gold producing clients.
