Talisman Mining Limited is an Australia-based mineral development and exploration company. The Company is engaged in the exploration, discovery and development of opportunities in base and precious metals. It has secured tenements in the Cobar/Mineral Hill region in Central New South Wales (NSW) through the grant of its own exploration licenses and through a joint venture agreement. Its projects include Lachlan Base Metal and Copper-Gold Project, Mabel Creek Project and Yarindury Porphyry Copper-Gold Project. Its Lachlan Project encompasses approximately 7,100 square kilometers (km2) land position in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt of central New South Wales. It also has over 1040 km2 of highly prospective tenure in Mabel Creek Project, which is a prospective for iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) deposits and intrusion related rare earth and battery metals mineralization. Yarindury Project is located 30km east of Dubbo in the Macquarie Volcanic Arc of central-western NSW.

RE:RE:RE:COS not falling even after bad resultsWell, we don't know what is going on really. There could be something in the works and we wouldn't have a clue. The share price is no indication of what valuation is in that many oil/gas stocks are trading well under replacement cost. This is an amazing situation we have in Energy right now in that it these stocks are trading at Depression levels while the stock market is soaring.  This is complicating matters in that Management could never justify a sale anywhere near the stock price or they would be sued in a flash. These depressed valuations will lead to a  huge drop in investment and eventually shortages. We have reached a point where growing production on borrowed money is going to stop. Many producers cannot borrow to grow anymore and some will not be able to maintain production, Talisman is going to have to cut investment further and pay down debt if asset sales don't come soon. We should see gas prices give us some help soon and that will lead to a better outlook for TLM.
