What this means is they have signed in to an advertising network and adds are being served. They are using admob if you're interested. They get maybe $1 per thousand ads served. Which is why you need huge user numbers to make money. If you took the median number of android downloads you might, might have 25K. Industry stats show 90% of app downloads are looked at once then deleted. So say you have 2500 actual users. Now stratify that into light, medium and heavy. Then do an ads viewed calculation. It means they make pennies a day. For validation go look at the site. One guy has the most recent 50 posts and they're from days ago. This is shaping up quickly to be another Yappn chat.
