NATO & CUS
NATO & CUSSome things to consider;
- NATO is for sale.
- As a “turnkey” operation that is expandable and ideally situated (access to both CP and CN) I would think that it would be very attractive asset for several companies.
- I suspect that the reason that the “un-named” shipper bailed out and Canexus hasn’t been able to contract more capacity is because it is not known at this time who will own and operate NATO.
- It is Canexus’s management’s responsibility to their shareholders to realise as much as possible for NATO.
- It is the managements of the potential acquirer’s responsibility to their shareholders to acquire NATO at the lowest cost possible.
My conclusion is that it will take a while but ultimately NATO will be sold for a fair price and the CUS shareholders that are patient will be rewarded.
Although I already have what I consider a full position in CUS (ACB $4.75) I am considering adding a bit at the current prices.
