cdn synthetic prices now tanking.....

cdn synthetic prices now tanking.....COS just can't catch a break and that's why you should ALWAYS have at least part of your production hedged above $100. see below. dwdc Canadian light synthetic crude prices fell to an 11-month low on Thursday, with some traders citing talk of strong supply. Light synthetic crude from the oil sands for December delivery last traded at $6.25 per barrel below the West Texas Intermediate benchmark, according to Shorcan Energy brokers. That was the widest differential since mid-December 2013, according to Reuters data, and compares with a settlement price of $6.00 per barrel below WTI on Wednesday. Synthetic crude has weakened steadily over the last month and one trader said there were reports of volumes building up in the storage hub of Edmonton, Alberta. Crude production at Syncrude Canada's oil sands operation averaged 351,600 barrels per day in October, up more than 30 percent month-on-month, the venture's largest-interest owner Canadian Oil Sands said earlier this week.
