Ease of access, water and electricity etc....I thought I would post some DD i've done on our mining sites before and after I got on board...
There is no national railway system so EGX will have to Flatbed machinery in and out of the site on main highways from Loja/Zamora and onto secondary roads into the site. I made myself some notes, don't mind them!! As for water access, there is NO shortage here. As you can see on EGX's website, mining grounds are all purposly situated on top of river beds for just that reason. ( https://ecuadorgoldandcopper.com/project/condor/ )
Hydroelectric Dam just 20 KM east of Zamora to be complete by late summer 2015 and operational by end of 2015. Just in time for a buyout and the takeover company to get set up. Time lines match up perfectly to a company to get proper documentation and equipment into the site when power is to be set up and operational. There also should not be a shortage of workers as the there are town towns situated atop of EGX's mining sites. Towns of Chinapintza and Mayayou Alta. EGX has access to everything needed to make it an easily accessed site. The only thing that would have made it better would to have rail access for machinery. As I stated, the roadways are "Highways" until you get into Zamora when they turn into main roads and eventually Secondary Roadways into our site(s).
My research has found that their are approximately 15 service stations in the Zamora Chinchipe region. Fuel prices for November 3rd 2014 are .29/litre or $1.09/gallon USD. There is no shortage of fuel and should be readily available. They can also get fuel just across the border in Peru for .02/gallon more. $1.11.
All in all, we're sitting on a gold mine... no pun intended. Good Luck all!! Keep doing your DD. Cheers !!
