RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Why no action?Neither Teck or Mitsubishi have any need to do anything at this point. Teck now controls 30% of AQM and will do whatever they want when it comes to move from the Feasibility to a production decision. If you look at the JV it is 50-50 Teck on one side and AQM/Mitsubishi on the other.
If the FS is positive and a production decision is made, it seems to me that as long as the share positions remain at the same levels then it would be beneficial for Teck to have AQM and Mitsubishi contribute to the capex. At this point AQM is fully funded until a production decision.
I believe that AQM, if it can raise the money has 30% of a $900 million project where our total market vvalue is now about $10-12 million. We have lots of upside without any risk at present
but I think we have at least a 12-18 month wait for the study to be completed. I hope the price of copper and gold strengthen in the meantime. If you look at the trading volumes you will see that there is no volume and until the volume increases I would not worry too much about being taken out at this time,
