good week ahead

good week ahead
OPEC giving some signals that compromise is in the air, I wouldn't be surprised if a small production cut is announced, its going to get cold this week and oil will be supported, and we should have good Q3 results, technically we are set up to bounce to the 1.80s, but I can see 1.72 but the start of next week. Just my thoughts. On a tangent, I am surprised with many SPs down 20-40% that there hasn't been much M&A activity. Perhaps the uncertainty is keeping some majors from taking on any debt and spending money to pick up some stressed companies. Although with some companies giving up their hedges banking that oil will rebound you would think there would be some dealing and wheeling and some bigger fish on the hunt. Perhaps it is still too soon and majors are doing their R&D...never really heard Twin Butte discussed as a potential takeout, but I would think if declines are good our production and costs would be attractive to others...
