RE:canadafox. you figured that out all on your own

RE:canadafox. you figured that out all on your owngibbons;  No, your post is generally way off the mark IMO as I explained.  The Kurds will leave Iraq if they can and if it suits them economically and politically. However, the reality for them is that they are in a landlocked situation and the regional and global actors want them to remain under the control of Baghdad for geo-political reasons.  So much for US support for 'self-determination and freedom'.  Whether they go or stay is still in the balance.  The Kurds have no intention of fighting anyone if they can possibly avoid it as they have no air power and limited funds.  They are currently employing their effective armed forces against IS because they are directly threatened by them and the Iraqi army has proven to be basically useless.  The Kurds will only fight if their territory and/or people ( Kobane ) are directly threatened.  The Arab Iraqis will not attempt this for the first reason - that they are useless militarily.  A second is that the Kurds will decimate them if they try.  Arab Iraqi / Kurd warfare is not on anyone's agenda and this was your main contention.

Presumably you were attempting to give potential investors the idea that Kurdistan and Iraq will soon be at war and Kurdi investements were therefore extremely risky.   Your 'point' is simply ill-informed scare-mongering.  You have not been anywhere near the region - have you?  Kurdistan is not a war-zone now and is very unlikely ever to be in the future.  It is not in anyone's interest - especially Turkey's - to have it so.
