Stock price action tells me that news is bad or stuff is delayed or something wrong, however this might be bc they know they have more time so they are shaking the tree to get people scared and get cheap shares.
I know that in the past doing some Googling, CDS Energy up to 2009 was doing work or looking for a partner for some concessions in the area and they saw the potential however not all their comments were rosy.
Does anyone know what happened to these guys and why I can't find any news after 2009 on them and what the results were from any drilling they did?
Any info would be appreciated.
From what I've been able to find, it looks like it was the end of CDS activity after PetroSaudi pulled out of their funding deal with them after the price of oil collapsed back then (went down into the low $30s per barrel, I believe):
"...The Saudi company – which owned nearly two-thirds of CDS by late 2008 – stepped back from its small-cap investments after the collapse of the oil price."

The above is from an oilbarrel.com article, which requires an account to access, but someone posted the article on the above message board in 2010. Also, "PetroSaudi sells off majority stake in CDS":

Hopefully the price of oil won't collapse to those levels again anytime soon.... After losing funding, it looks like CDS (among others) was acquired by Dahava Petroleos in 2012:
"Dahava Petroleos SAECA, a Paraguayan company, has acquired Aurora Petroleos SA, Boreal Petroleos SA, and CDS Energy SA, bringing into a single entity, vast areas of oil and gas exploration in Paraguay with Dahava’s international experience."

And after that, it looks like Dahava Petroleos received a buyout offer from a major international oil company in 2013:
"Dahava Petroleos SAECA (In Process of Filing) Receives Offer From International Oil Company to Acquire 100% of its Shares"

The trail went cold after that when I was looking into this a while ago - I couldn't find anything else at the time, so I'm not sure what happened with that offer...
