RE:RE:RE:No so silver....paranoid possiblyFact of the matter is production increases are impressive and if it can be sustained the appocolypse will be averted;. Everyone must remember that had the recent oil crash not occured the number would be entirely different. Now the concensus on the drop in oil prices is that it's a deliberate action to cripple Russia ( the way reagan toppled the former Soviet Union by arranging oil to drop to 15 20 a barrel) and get them out of the Ukraine;. Another interesting twist if you don't buy the first theory, Is that if this is a major correction the Saudis aren't cutting down production to prop up prices ( as they usually do) intentionally in order to put a halt to exploding shale production in the U.S. My bet is a combination of the 2. Russia is the target and the Saudis ( partnered up with U.S environmentalists) are trying to make shale and oil sand poduction non profitable to eliminate their competition;.
NOW LOOK Dem Senator Landreau is fighting a run off election in oil producing Louisiana;. The democrats got pasted in the election and they NEED to hold this Stae;. So landreau is pushing through a vote on Keystone to save the seat this week;. It will end up on Obama's desk next week. He will VETO it to appease the radical Left;. The Democrats will join the republicans and overturn the veto. Keystone will pass before the end of the month;.
Also Saudis can't keep oil down this low for too long as they need at least $95 barrel to pay off their citizens with Social programs to avert a revolution;. This is the same problem faced by other OPEC nations;.
Biggest problem is Putin isn't a push over;. Nuclear capable bombers are now patrolling the Gul of Mexico. A signal that they will fight if pushed;. IMHO OIL will soon rise;. U.S election is over, OPEC nation will face revolution if Socuial programs cut. and MOST importantly. The U.S will not risk a war with Russia over the Ukraine and low oil prices.
