Fission Uranium Corp. is a Canada-based uranium company and the owner/developer of the high-grade, near-surface Triple R uranium deposit. The Company is the 100% owner of the Patterson Lake South uranium property. Its Patterson Lake South (PLS) project, which hosts the Triple R deposit, a large, high-grade and near-surface uranium deposit that occurs within a 3.18 kilometers (km) mineralized trend along the Patterson Lake Conductive Corridor. The property comprises over 17 contiguous claims totaling 31,039 hectares and is located geographically in the south-west margin of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. Additionally, the Company has the West Cluff property comprising three claims totaling approximately 11,148-hectares and the La Rocque property comprising two claims totaling over 959 hectares in the western Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan. The La Rocque property is prospective for high-grade uranium and is located five km south of Cameco’s La Rocque Uranium Zone.

Based on the above and general industry rule-of-thumb, I think that one could argue values of anywhere from $6 per pound to $10 for high-grade Athabasca pounds. I've split the difference and will use $8/pound for this exercise. At Fission's current market cap of C$350 million, 350/8 = 44 million pounds. In my view, that's the over/under number in the market. I can't say that I've done the work to go through the results hole by hole to be able to make my own guess at the initial 43-101 resource estimate and the first estimate is usually just a starting point. In any case, I'll be watching closely and I'm sure I'm not the only one. At the end of the day, when I consider the grade-depth characteristics of PLS, I believe that it's almost inevitable that Fission will eventually be bought by a larger player. As always, time will tell.
