Good news and bad news

Good news:
"Mi World™ PCS has been named a 2015 CES Innovation Awards Honoree in the Tablets, E-Readers and Mobile Computing category. Products entered in this prestigious program were judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers, and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 28 categories."

Bad news:
"In our last update we mentioned an operating system and battery change. The explanation was short and sweet, and now we would like to elaborate further on the reasoning for the changes and how it affects you. "

"When we started the development process for Mi World™ PCS, we had intended on releasing our device with a Linux server OS. Linux is a very robust environment for security and services and an OS we had deployed many times in the enterprise and consumer markets. Upon engaging our contract manufacturer for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series SOM (system on module), we were informed that the state of Linux on the platform was only partially developed and lacked some of the functionality required by Mi World™ PCS."

.... and they are delayed again, and this time... no targeted date...

IMO this customer is gone... and I would question on the readiness of the development kit...
