Of note is that millions of shares traded well below Nord Gold's 9.6 cent non-offer, which is a strong indicator that it will go no further.
The major shareholders want to participate as Lynn Lake is developed - 9.6 cents won't cut it for them and they can wait 3-5 years.
what a pickle for Aurico this deal is. If aurico is going to spend 30m on exploration, why not just offer it now for shareholders? because mgmt are incompetent fools and they got taken by aurico on this deal. Long term it may pay out but time is money and value of money over time is well you all know the line here....
The tsx will not interfere on this but you can guarantee that this story is not over, all shareholders that hold this stock will pressure mgmt to at least put the Norg Gold potential offer to a vote or have their advisors/banks sponsor them now and let the stock rise past the Nord Gold offer so it no longer attractive and wait it out over the next 3-4 months until all the noise subdues.
and finally thanks to all shareholders that sold me their shares for .045/5c - nothing is easy but this was a no brainer buy for me last week.
