Most likely these are trades with very little accumulation, hence the shareprice has stayed flat. Any accumulation is likely to dump at the first sign that Nord Gold is walking away. Of course it would make sense if Nord Gold was accumulating but it is possible the agreement with CGJ prohibits this.
Bruce Reid on his own has 23m shares and AuRico now owns 70.6m shares and they aren't selling. CGJ has a poison pill so management can slow down any hostile offer and it would take a court ruling to force a shareholder vote.
No long time shareholder would see a profit at 9.6 cents and they might be happy to wait for AuRico to build the project to get 5 times that.
