• Historical production of 14,000 tons produced 14,500 ounces of gold.

 

– Only oxide ore was mined

• Mine did not receive any further development until 1989.

• In 1992, Echo Bay Exploration optioned the property and continued the exploration of

the site and extensively drilled the property.

– A drill program of 87 drill holes spaced 140 feet for a total of 16,806.5 feet

delineated the current ore body being developed by Pruett Ballarat Inc.

• The most recent historical resource estimate was conducted by Echo Bay

Exploration in 1993. It was estimated that there were 1,148,978 tons grading 0.244

ounce per ton gold for a total of 280,350 in situ ounces of gold.*


– Estimate was based on a 0.07 oz/ton gold cut-off and a 2oz/ton gold high-grade cut-off


– Stated by Pruett Ballarat Inc. that the modeled data demonstrated a high-grade zone of 100,000 tons grading 1oz/ton gold.


* Historical estimates are not National Instrument 43-101 compliant
