RE:RE:Down again and whyThis is to rectify a misunderstanding in case it is one. I,m not sure if you completely misunderstood what I tried to say or if it is me who could not understand what you said. Since, some other still preach to short I fear that it was me who was not clear.
I, for my part, had no intention to recommend  shorting. Quite the contrary. What I wanted to point out is that some shorters do so when circumstances allow, sell some shares, whether they are shares they own or borrow is of no consequence, at a loss. If they succeed they push down the price, just like "activist" seems to do by his own bragging and when the prices are down they buy far more then they sold at a low price knowing that this is an excellent company and therefore counting on an immediate rercovery after which they again sell a small amount of shares at a higher price but low enough to push the price down again just to repeat this game.
