RE:Evrim Options Cumobabi Property to SilverCrest Mines

On October 17th, First Quantum relinquished their option to the Cumobabi property.  Even before the ink dried, Silvercrest picked it up.  Connecting the dots, Cumobabi is adjacent to the Ermitano property that Silvercrest has been prospecting/drilling in recent months.  In the recent earnings conference call it was mentioned that the results from drilling at Ermitano are to be made public in the first week of December.  Management at Silvercrest must like what they are seeing from the Ermitano drill program, they may have even seen some of the initial drill results.  It's my hunch that the soon to be announced success at Ermitano is what prompted today's news release of Silvercrest acquiring the rights to the adjacent Cumobabi property.

Management has said in the past that they see Santa Elena as a potential mining district, not just a single mine. Today's acquisition ties into that thesis.
