Bentek 11/19/2014 | 3:32 PMCanadian Observer - Widespread cold snap places reliance on storage inventories for demand Canadian storage withdrawals have ramped up in recent days to fulfill elevated demand caused by widespread cold snaps blanketing much of North America. Over the past 10 days, Bentek estimates that West Canada storage withdrawals have averaged 1.8 Bcf/d, which is roughly 1.6 Bcf/d above the previous 5-year average for the beginning of withdrawal season. As a result, West Canada inventories have dipped below 400 Bcf over the past couple days, which normally does not occur in withdrawal season until the end of January. Below average temperatures are anticipated to continue throughout much of the western portion of the continent, which could continue to place pressure on storage to fulfill regional demand. 11/19/2014 | 3:32 PM Canadian Observer (Daily
