Good point. I must acknowledge that sometimes a company will extend the expiration date on a warrant or adjust the exercise price.
It is not the usual course, since a management team has a fiduciary duty to the shareholders at large, rather than only those who participated in a private placement.

You are confusing options with warrants. Huge difference from many levels. Without looking it up, I am pretty sure current management extended warrant expiry date on some warrants once already.
