News reports indicated that a company belonging to the Lundin Family Trust is buying the Fruta del Norte gold project from Kinross in Equador . According to a Reuters report - Once this mine acquisition closes, (Current owner) Fortress Minerals Corp will change its name to Lundin Gold Inc. . I seem to recall that on a BNN interview Lamb indicated that before he was involved with Diamond mining he worked for some base metal companies
According to reports the building of that new mine has some local public relations challenges and Lambs background with what they have done in Botswana with Karowe Mine ( community buy-in and support ) could be key to getting Fruta del Norte off the ground
.Again this is all speculation at this point -but if the renamed Ludin Gold Inc. is headquartered in Vancouver or Toronto Canada - this could make sense
