The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Pretty ambiguous if you ask me.My point is that I think that the majority of investors following PTA believe it is a done deal once the AGM is concluded that PTA's shares will be consolidated 10 for 1. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the annoncement of the rollback date drag out into 2015 as I don't believe they will announce a definitve timetable for the rollback concurrent with the announcement of the approval. New investors won't want to invest in front of a roll back, and most investors hate uncertainty, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. PTA has always hinted at consolidating on operating news or a corporate event, either way, what they are hoping for is positive news to make the announcement on. Hopefully for all shareholders that day comes sooner than later.
