Smells like ethylene

Smells like ethyleneA few years back a similar scenario played out on NOVA Corp which was "saved" from going under by Middle East investors.  Nova owned 2 large ethylene plants, one each in Ontario and Alberta which were apparently inefficient and uncompetative in the world market at the time.   The price of the stock went down to a point that replacement value was pennies on the dollar.  Out of the blue, savior investors came forward with a very generous offer (considering the low value of the stock).  It was taken out.
Today NOVA is going gangbusters selling everything it can produce and I guess making loads of money.

Sound eerily famliar?
