What matters is the extent to which Brookfield is prepared to continue providing Armtec with financial assistance and at what cost. Possibly Brookfield may have knowledge about Armtec's future financial position that has not been shared with owners of the company. Brookfield is in the business of lending money that generates a very good return and which is repaid; ending up as the owner by default of a very troubled and poorly managed company seems an unlikely scenario.
