"The loonie, as the Canadian dollar is known, was worth about 88 U.S. cents yesterday,"
so the Canadian dollar differential offsets the WCS differential.

Recent EOR expansions have been in Latin America, where WEE does Not have to compete with fracking for investment dollars.

Now that fracking is uneconomic in North America, WEE may see some traction in EOR.

Also, the frackers themselves may be motivated to invest in secondary recovery, as simply drilling more wells with single digit recovery is Not economic.
