I would like to see why you think that I don't understand dividends   ??   Looking forward to your copy and pasting so as I can try to understand why you made this following statement.  Unless of course you just said it without any logical reasoning for saying it which some on the bullboards do ???

I know that i thought maybe you were having trouble understanding.

I'll explain it to you if you like. You apparently don't understand the divi since you claimed it is the yield that determines the sustainability of a divi. This is absolutely false. The yield is dependent on shareprice, the divi is dependent on cash flow/profitability. If oil were sitting at $200 right now and yet LTS was somehow at $2 shareprice, the divi would still be 24% yet completely sustainable. In fact, the company would likely INCREASE the divi in this scenario. The divi is currently at risk due to decreasing projected cash flow as the price of oil plummets, it has nothing to do with shareprice/yield.
