TORC Oil & Gas Ltd. T.TOG

Primary Symbol: VREYD

TORC Oil & Gas Ltd engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas reserves in the southeast Saskatchewan area. Crude oil constitutes an overwhelming majority of the production mix the company gathers from its assets. TORC gains access to its assets through government issued royalties and uses various techniques to identify hydrocarbon reservoirs. The company focuses heavily on light oil resource plays and relies on a three-phased strategy of resource capture, delineation, and production growth.

RE:Any idea why Torc is getting hit so badly?

RE:Any idea why Torc is getting hit so badly? In comparison to 1998 when oil made it to just under $10 a barrel of oil (yes <$10), many junior oil companies went under a few quarters later...TOG will hang on but other juniors (with poor fundamentals) that are not falling in price as much will fail...it's a bear trap where the Pros are trying to get people to bail on TOG (a good stock) so you'll pick up one that appears to be better only to have it fail in a couple of quarters...let's hope for low TOG volumes so that when things finally turn around the stock will quickly recoup the fall that has happen in the last week or so...take care and beware where one steps in the woods...as I post this, TOG is at $8.26 a share...
