Beaty, of 1550 - 625 Howe Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 2T6, today announced pursuant to National Instrument 62-103 The Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues that on November 28, 2014 he acquired ownership of 14,571,100 common shares of Alterra Power Corp. ("Alterra") through the facilities of the Chi-X Exchange in reliance on the normal course purchase exemption set out in section 4.1 of Multilateral Instrument 62-104 Take-Over Bids and Issuer Bids for a purchase price of CDN$0.328 per common share and an aggregate purchase price of CDN$4,779,320.80. The common shares purchased represent approximately 3.1% of the total number of issued and outstanding common shares of Alterra.
