Glentel to carry all brands unlike BCE's Source deal in 2009

Glentel to carry all brands unlike BCE's Source deal in 2009News from various sources say Rogers does not own a retail distribution chain apart from its own Rogers and Fido stores and ended a trial distribution agreement with Shoppers Drug Mart after 10 months in 2010. Also small players don't have distribution network. It is a well thought out strategic move to gain access to USA. Possibility of other bidders like Roger or US firms not ruled out. Glentel bidded for source stores in 2009 but BCE outbid them. Source stores are BCE exclusively. Don't know what BEL will do with non core assets like Business Centres but article says they might expand its potential revenue pool into new areas. Here is the link.
