TORC Oil & Gas Ltd. VREYD

TORC Oil & Gas Ltd engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas reserves in the southeast Saskatchewan area. Crude oil constitutes an overwhelming majority of the production mix the company gathers from its assets. TORC gains access to its assets through government issued royalties and uses various techniques to identify hydrocarbon reservoirs. The company focuses heavily on light oil resource plays and relies on a three-phased strategy of resource capture, delineation, and production growth.

Torc observations ...

Torc observations ...I'm long on TORC ... and like all other longs, we are taking a beating. It appears the supplies of oil are outstripping supply, and there there is no will to curtail production. While the North American economy shows modest growth (at best), the rest of the world is slowing (or has slowed). There are a lot of new sources of energy in wind and solar ... not to mention battery powered cars. Even our trusted gas powered vehicles are getting record mileage. Add in slowing in China, and technology which has enabled non-economical oil wells to be re-opened ... and there are a lot of head winds. As far as gas and oil goes ... this is a good one. I fully anticipate buying more at some point ... but I suspect shorts and tax loss selling still have a significant way to go. Hope I am wrong. Emba33
