Even if I invest in Oil and Gas,  I still respect the environment and refrain from calling them tree huggers. Although, I see the rhetoric that environmental lobbyists use often overstated and misleading, I have to appreciate their voices. It is important to have that dialogue. We should not let our greed color our feelings.

For instance, I listened to  the master "tree hugger", David Suzuki, talk about how the increased costs of other forms of energy can be an opportunity that just might replace the lost earnings and revenue from traditional fossil fuels. Why not see it that way and be ahead of the curve? He suggested oil and gas companies are instead Energy companies and can start converting some of their resources towards clean energy. I am not sure I agree that they have the expertise to do that, but its that kind of thinking that I appreciate. I see good economic reasons for Canada to maintain a leading position in developing renewable and clean energy.

We are capable of great things, lets encourage greatness.

Well said MagicBeans...there are room for everyone to work together....

and by the way..I hug trees and walk bare feet..and am an oil investor....and darn i love it
