On November 17, 2014, the Company announced that drilling operations had provided evidence and encouraging data including constant background gas ranging from 3% to over 12% in the circulated drilling mud to surface throughout the drilling of the hole. They further announced that drilling would continue into the Santa Rosa target and that a further progress announcement would be made in early December. As of December 1, 2014, the results
are still encouraging and the operator is beginning to run testing procedures and plans an operational update in early December.

'President Energy on 20 October said it had found a major oil deposit — believed to contain some 200m barrels of conventional light crude — at a depth of 3,926 metres in the Lapacho well, located in the Pirity basin, which extends from Paraguay’s western department of Presidente Hayes all the way to Argentina.
